About the Photographer
The world slows down when you look closely.

About
Pranav Mankad's photography is rooted in a simple desire: to pause the world long enough to appreciate its quiet brilliance.
A self-taught landscape photographer, he has spent years capturing the subtle geometry of mountains, the softness of distant horizons, and the way light reshapes everything it touches. His work reflects an instinct for balance—between detail and vastness, motion and stillness, color and shadow.
In 2019, his panoramic image of Harder Kulm was published in National Geographic Viajes (Spain), marking a milestone in a journey that began not in studios or art schools, but in the spaces he found between a demanding life in science and the solace of the outdoors.
Beyond the lens, Pranav works in medicine, where precision and calm are essential. Though his professional worlds differ, both call for the same sensibility: noticing patterns, honoring complexity, and approaching each moment with presence.
Photography is where he breathes.
It's where the noise settles.
And it's where he captures the landscapes that remind us of our own inner stillness.
This gallery is a curated collection of the scenes that have moved him most.
Limited edition prints are available for those who wish to bring that sense of calm into their own space.
Welcome to KDS Photo—where each image invites you to slow down and look a little deeper.
